How It Started
Mark A. Du Pont did not need another career. He had already built one. But something about turf pulled him in. Maybe it was the craft of it. The precision. The fact that when you do it right, you can stand back and see the result immediately.
He started in Southern California nearly two decades ago. Not in an office. On his knees, cutting turf by hand, learning how every seam sits and every edge holds. He ran the forklift. Operated the plate compactor. Graded subbase by eye until it was flat enough to eat off of.
Mark brings 28 years of industry experience to every project. That depth shows up in the details most installers never notice.
Scaling Up
Word spread. Small backyards turned into HOA common areas. Common areas turned into athletic fields and commercial properties. The biggest project? A $1.2 million, 140,000-square-foot installation in Southern California. Five weeks, start to finish. That is not a typo.

Mark started Green Forever Turf Texas after nearly two decades in the artificial turf trade — four years of those installing every yard himself before he hired his first crew. He is on the job site every day, walking projects with his team, and handling calls from homeowners personally.
A lifelong competitive golfer with 30+ years of play, multiple USGA competitions, and a spot on Team USA at the Mercedes-Benz World Cup in Germany, Mark designs every putting green himself. No pre-fab kits. No cookie-cutter contours. Real break, real speed, built to play.
